If you come out and play hard and get beat, that's part of sports. But to come out and play uninspired, that's very hard to deal with.

It's tough in the AFL to play defense. They've done a good job. I felt they stepped it up (Sunday). If you can get some stops in there, it can make such a big difference.

It's tough to win on the road, and we've had good success winning on the road.

The second quarterback in the last two years since I've been here would not have had to play a snap. He did because of situations where we were way far ahead or way behind. We had Jose Davis. We felt great that he could come in and play and play effectively. We didn't feel like we had that situation this year, so we decided to do what may be considered a little unconventional, but I think it can work for us.

We didn't panic after the first quarter. They had a turnover, and we took advantage of it. Then we got a great defensive stop in the second quarter.

We don't have a roster of 45 or 53 players or 100 guys like in college, and we're very tight on the salary cap.

You'd like to come out and play well every game. They are all important. I thought Utah played real well. I thought we played uninspired.

We have to prepare ourselves for (Bishop) and the other guy. It may be a case where they play multiple quarterbacks.

I thought it was great. We kept doing what we needed to do. We just kept playing and, in arena football, we don't think about what is going offensively or defensively.

Marcus Nash is a real talent and has had great success in our league. Obviously, Damian Harrell has done a great job for us. It's a wide-open passing game, so those two guys are the focal points.
