Omar Suleiman
Omar Suleiman served as Vice President of Egypt, a position he assumed in January 2011 during a period of significant political change in the country.
Born in Qena, Egypt, in 1936, Suleiman pursued a broad military and academic education that underpinned his long career in public life. He attended the Egyptian Military College and later trained at the M.V. Frunze Military Academy, supplementing that military formation with academic study at both Ain Shams University and Cairo University. These institutions provided the foundation for a career that spanned military service, intelligence work, and diplomacy. Over the following decades, Suleiman worked as a soldier, a spy, and a diplomat, occupying roles within Egypt's military and security establishment. He communicated publicly in Arabic and Egyptian Arabic throughout his career.
Suleiman died on July 19, 2012, in Cleveland, United States, roughly a year and a half after his tenure as Vice President concluded. His death in Cleveland marked the end of a career in which he had served Egypt as a politician, a diplomat, and a member of its military and intelligence apparatus.
Quotes by Omar Suleiman

Sometimes you don’t realize how special something is until you lose it. Thats how I feel about Ramadan every year.

Talk to Allah in your own language with your heart fully present. Allah doesn’t need you to rhyme or speak arabic.

Positive thinking isn’t ignoring life’s problems, it’s understanding that Allah can make a way out for you if you sincerely try.

When you treat people well, those same people might not treat you the same way. But if you pay attention, you’ll notice that Allah has sent OTHER people who treat you even better.

When you forget that you need Allah, He puts you in a situation that causes you to call upon him. And that’s for your own good...
