At the end of the third quarter and in the fourth, the kids decided this game was over, and they were going to get ready for (sectional opponent) Marion.

They have lost seven games so they have weaknesses. We need to analyze the weaknesses and give ourselves a chance to win the game.

They don't stop cheering. It can get very loud.

You have to go back three years and all the hard times, Michael didn't want to go through another season like that. He helped our team accomplish a great deal the last two seasons. That's a testament of his ability.

The other guys didn't make shots. When an opponent (plays a gimmick defense), there's a purpose in it. They want the other guys to beat them, and our other guys didn't beat them.

The other kids do the little things, like setting a screen to get Lamar (Lee) and Michael (Teller) open. Or getting a rebound or checking their man out so somebody else can get a rebound. That is being a real smart player, understanding they don't have to shoot to make us good.

We are thrilled with how he has played. He has had a chance prove what he is capable of doing and he has played extremely well.

We have some holes to fill, but we had kids who learned how to play basketball at the varsity level and that will help us next season.

Michael tried to carry the whole team on his shoulders. Nobody else stepped up.

It did surprise me; I thought they would be a good challenge. Without Lamar especially, but we had some kids step up. That is something this team is starting to do; others step up and take the pressure off of Lamar and Michael (Teller).
