Rohit Gurunath Sharma was born on 30 April 1987 in Nagpur, India. Before entering professional sport, he attended Our Lady of Vailankanni High School and subsequently continued his education at Swami Vivekanand International School and Junior College, completing the academic years that preceded his career.
