He pitched well enough to win and Phillip came in and pitched fine as well.

His control was great and I was pleased with how he pitched.

It was a good game and we got a lot of runners on base.

That first pitcher they threw at us did a good job through four innings, but when they brought those other guys in we were able to break the game open.

Early on I didn't feel like we were ready to play and we were up 2-1 after the third inning. But we went down the left field line and had a talk and they responded by hitting the ball hard from there on out. I guess the heart to heart worked.

We had runners on second and third with no outs in sixth inning, down 5-4, and we were not able to get anyone home.

We hit in spurts tonight and we were able to string together some hits to get the win. But our pitching and our defense were the keys to the win tonight.

To their credit, they did not back down and they made the score 13-8, but we were able to show character and add on some runs.

We had a decent day pitching, but the errors killed us.

We saw good pitching, but we could have come away with a win if we would have limited our mistakes.
