Stephanie Tubbs Jones was an American politician, judge, and lawyer who represented Ohio's 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Born in Cleveland in 1949, she attended Collinwood High School before going on to study at Case Western Reserve University. She built a career that took her through the legal profession and the judiciary before moving into elected office. In 1999 she took her seat in Congress as the U.S. representative for Ohio's 11th congressional district, a position she held until her death in Cleveland in 2008.
