All the property owners met with me last Thursday. The property owners might want to sell so we could consolidate to the corner.

The developers would contribute to building parks. They would pay to have the park views.

The condominium owners, all of them, each and every individual, would have to agree to a sale.

The codes give pictures with examples. The look doesn't have to be Mediterranean, but it should fit in with the general look of the area.

Right now we have a facade program that helps with $10,000 for smaller projects. The big projects can take advantage of the tax increment funding but we have nothing for those in between.

It would be a property tax rebate program.

Blight does not mean boarded-up store fronts or dirty streets. It can mean the infrastructure (sewers and roads) might not be up to par.

We want the smaller businesses to know this program is available to them.

We had a meeting with the lot owners last Wednesday. We are all getting on the same page.

Remember this is only a concept. In my experience many things can change from concept to final plans. A concept is just a concept.
