I'm very pleased to add some experience to our back-line which is pretty young.

I've got something to go on now, the Wakefield game was just what we needed. My job as coach will really kick in from here. I saw lots of things I like and just as many things that we need to work on. We showed we have a few points in us and we defended well at times.

Danny has got so much NRL experience and he is a popular member of the team. He leads from the front and he's going to be there for the majority of the game as well. He doesn't speak much - but his actions will do the talking for him. He's an inspiration with the way he carries the ball.

It shouldn't have been that tough. We were dead in the water when they went ahead, and I couldn't see where our next points were coming from. But we've got our first win, and credit to the guys for that. More than anything this team needs confidence.

Ryan, who is 25 in the next couple of weeks, is the ideal age with plenty of experience at first grade.

Ryan is a good acquisition. He is quick and strong with the ball and gives us an accomplished goal kicker.

It was undoubtedly the lowest point of our season so far.

Brad was good, he got us around. We just came up with too many errors and gave away too many penalties. There were a lot of positives from the game and, if we had had that effort last week, we would have won.

We should have been up by 12 at half-time, but that's being greedy.

We got in a position to win the game. Maybe it was a bit too early to go for it but I can't fault the effort of our players.
