It's a basic, elemental universe, one of the last remaining zones where violence and domination sort out who is top dog. That's football's glory, and its curse. The game of football doesn't transfer well to the real world. You can't treat your friends, neighbors, or loved ones the way you treat your opponent on the football field.

Marshall was a pioneering player. As a threat in so many different aspects of football, he revolutionized the way in which the running back position was played. He was the player that I wanted to emulate.

You can't even blame them for blowing us out, because we were so bad then. But this is a completely different team, a different feel, a different coach staff.

I don't think they take it personally and if they do that's their problem. I don't think it had anything to do with their players. I know it had nothing to do with them. They have no reason to be upset.

I can relate to Jeremy because I had lingering injuries for two and a half years and when I finally got healthy, it felt so good,

Hopefully, it won't ever get to that point because we have so much talent. But I am confident that he can do it under pressure.

I remember early in my career we couldn't lose division games, ... Now, with Philadelphia taking such prominence in the division the last few years, it's been a struggle. So we have a lot to do and these games mean a whole lot, every single one of them.

I know the team relies on me a lot, to be durable, to be accountable, to make big plays. I don't envision myself letting them down.
