The goal is to get them to pass the FCAT successfully. They will exit after passing the FCAT or after enough credits have been earned to allow them to enter a certified vocational/technical program or their regular high school.

The academy will focus on reading, math, language arts, science and cutting-edge technology. Special attention will be afforded to critical thinking, problem-solving and employment skills.
