Park Yoo-chun, better known by the mononym Yoochun, is a Korean-American singer-songwriter, composer, actor, and model who works in the K-pop genre. Born on June 4, 1986, in Seoul, South Korea, he holds South Korean citizenship and performs primarily in the Korean language. He was formerly known by the stage name Micky Yoochun earlier in his career.

Yoochun was educated at Chantilly High School before later attending Kyung Hee University. His musical career developed through membership in two South Korean boy bands: he was a member of TVXQ and subsequently of JYJ, both of which are part of the broader K-pop landscape in which he built his profile as a singer and composer.

Alongside his work as a recording artist, Yoochun pursued a substantial career as a television actor, appearing in a series of South Korean dramas across several years. He starred in Sungkyunkwan Scandal in 2010 and followed that with Miss Ripley in 2011. In 2012, he appeared in both Rooftop Prince and Missing You, and he continued his television work with Three Days in 2014 and A Girl Who Sees Smells in 2015. This sustained presence across multiple drama productions reflects the dual nature of his career as both a musical performer and a television actor.
