It's not just hard for us, it's hard for everybody to win here. First of all, (Nevada) always has talented teams. But then you have the altitude and some of the distractions of the city, that's a great advantage.

Low lunar orbit, at the precision mapping altitude of 50 kilometers, is substantially different from our experiences at other planets.

It does give you a little more distance. It's one of those things (the media) like to play up a lot more with the altitude and all that. It makes a little difference as far as the carry on the ball, but ultimately, as far as playing and performing, you still have to go out and make (the kick). I don't think it's going to make a difference in winning and losing.

This region has been called the 'ignore-o-sphere' because it isn't an easy region to measure. The VLF technique that we have developed is particularly suitable for looking at this altitude range, which is not otherwise measurable.

The Strip is a very nice facility. It's a little bit of an altitude track. I don't know if we expect to see huge numbers here, but certainly we'll see a lot of really good racing. I think the more passes all of the teams get on this new tire the better the racing is going to be.
