We already hired about 70 engineers. Our mid-term plan is to have a research center with more than 250 engineers. Based on the market growth forecasts in Romania we are confident in expanding our business here. The presence of our new R&D center in Bucharest will support strengthening our image in the country and support our business.

We are already seeing the creation of a new kind of network based on friendships: Startups, which are often founded by friends, are the beginning of something that could reshape social relations.

Depressed patients clearly have different perceptions than researchers running clinical trials about what it means to stop feeling depressed. Clinical researchers have identified a patient as being in remission from depression, based on certain behaviors or symptoms, but the patient may not feel any better. We may need to broaden our definition of remission from depression.

If my decision were based solely on economic considerations, I would tighten again. I think the economy won't be derailed by this. I think the economy is firm and they (Fed governors) can send a signal that things are as they were.

The fact that this raised the hopes of patients and then did not deliver that promise has special poignancy. Science should be based on truth.

Despite all the problems with the old committee-era Congress, one of the virtues was that chairs were not only centers of power, but they held vast knowledge about public policy and the ... rules of the House. Chairmen could be counted on to find ways to move legislation forward and to improve - or reform - programs, based on a deep knowledge of their history. Today ... chairmen do not have that kind of memory.

The old way of doing 'good business' was based on the principle, 'the ends justifies the means.' In the future, good business will invoke 'the means justifying the ends.'
