This ‘good’ and ‘bad’ that we see; are the states of the body complex, the non-Self (pudgal). Do not separate them into ‘this is good’ and ‘this is bad’. Such distinctions have been made by, those believing in dualities. These dualities are vikalps (intellectual ideas; contrary thoughts; not reality). The nirvikalpi, one with awareness of the Self, sees both the good and the bad as vibhavik avastha, as states of the non-Self.

The Gnani Purush does not have any culmination in worldly life (sansaar-parinati) even for a moment, nor does He have any worldly intent (sansaar bhaav). He is in the natural state of the Self (nijparinati) and in the intent as the absolute Self (swabhaav-bhaav).

It is knowledge (gnan) indeed that runs everything. All the actions (kriyao) are actually carried out by the knowledge (gnan). The result of following according to what the Gnani's have said is cessation of worldly intents (virati)! And the result of worldly knowledge is continuation of worldly intents (avirati)!

The original element is considered as that which remains completely unaffected. The eternal elements are permanent (sanatan), indestructible (avinashi). When the indestructible, permanent [elements] come into contact (sansarg) with each other, an extra result (vishesh parinaam) arises. The Gnani Purush breaks the contact/link between the eternal elements, so the eternal elements comes back into their elemental form.
