For about the first 30 minutes it was chaotic with everybody raising their hands and speaking. Then we got on track.

It was one thing to march. Now we're going to hit 'em where it hurts in the pocketbooks.

People respond to fear. They respond when their self-interests are going to be impacted.

Timing is everything in politics, and the timing is with us right now.

We need to take this critical mass and organize it. Marching is not enough. We need to harness this power.

Our credibility as a community is on the line. We've shown our power politically, but if we can't show it economically we are going to lose it.

I think that this is a contagion that can't be stopped. It is growing by leaps and bounds.
