The guys were so inspired. I knew there was only a small chance I'd play, but we had a great scheme on defense and our offense executed well. It was an amazing feat.

I played some inside my sophomore and junior year in our nickel package. I feel I'm best used on the edge. I can play inside. I enjoy it but I enjoy playing on the edge a lot more now.

I'm just concerned with me being able to go out and perform the way I need to perform.

I knew I probably wasn't going to play so I had to do everything I could. You do everything you can to help your team win.

Any time you can do that and the quarterback shows some outward emotion - some negative emotion - you know you are in his head and you've affected him. It's satisfying.

It's bittersweet, obviously. No way could I imagine missing my final game as a senior, but it wasn't in the cards...

Everyone always wants the most tackles, the most sacks, the most interceptions. When you compete with those guys, it makes you better. But it's all in good fun. Everyone's friends. I'm just as happy for those guys when they do well as they are for me when I succeed.

That's something we all kind of talked about when we started doing this. It's something that's really grown and gotten a lot of attention, even on the national scene.

It's tough with an injury like this because you don't know how hard to push it.

It's gratifying for a defense when we know we can affect a quarterback so much that we take him out of the game plan. Any time you see him show outward emotion, it's a definite plus.
