Rut, routine, robotic. These are the three R’s of adult-hood. Wake up, eat, go to work, eat, work more, come home, eat, sleep, and repeat every day until we all reach retirement, or death.

The Great Spirit finds all life, even that of an abomination, is sacred.

Death could be waiting for him, but he wasn’t afraid. Whether it be sooner or later, he welcomed the inevitability with open arms.

There was one less monster on earth, and the world was certainly better off without him.

The years I spent pining for her, trying to subtly convince her that I was the man she needed to be with was what made me realize that I was competing with every man she knew for one ultimate goal. Just like a sporting event where her affections are the prize. And just like in a contest with athletes, I was completely outmatched. An amateur playing a game with experienced professionals.

A man of your valor deserves not another breath.

I knew I should have been looking for a job, but just having lost one, I felt kind of unmotivated. Depressed. Useless. I couldn't even keep a job. What kind of loser can't even do a job well enough to just stay employed?

So there we were; two perfectly imperfect people coming together in a perfectly imperfect world.
