He's made significant improvement this year. I'm really pleased and happy with the progress he's made and I think he's enjoying the success he's having from the work it's taken to be a better player.

I can't tell you how much he'll play, because he's not healthy. He's probably only about 75 percent. His role depends on his health, but he can help us.

They'll be the most athletic and the deepest team we've played.

It was a terrific effort tonight. Matt Peterson was sensational and Pierre (Thomas) read the charge defensively and set the tone for us that we were going to compete on the defensive end.

As long as we're an independent we'll have this scenario where we can't control our schedule and where we play. Playing seven (road games) in nine isn't what you want to do.

North Dakota State is a physical team that beat us up in Fargo. They are a very aggressive team offensively.

Everybody gave a tremendous effort. We played with terrific energy and a lot of competitive spirit. This was a collective team effort.

This was a hard-fought game. UMKC was stinging off a home loss at Oral Roberts and their players played with a lot of fight and determination. They made key shot after key shot. I am pleased with how hard we fought. At this stage of the year, I couldn't be happier with where we are. To sweep six straight games at home is definitely a feat.

Johnson & Wales has had a hard year. They will be excited to play a Division I team. It should be a fun homecoming for former Highland High star Eric Daniels.

It is a nice honor for Russ and Matt. We appreciate the great effort and example they have set in the classroom.
