In tournament basketball, a lot can happen in five days. Some teams will come in who might have lost a couple of games at the end of the season and all of a sudden they hit a couple of shots and they're a force to be reckoned with.

It's a great opportunity for us. We certainly appreciate all of the cooperation that we have received from everyone to bring this opportunity to this point. The staffs at both Wake Forest and the Greensboro Coliseum have been extremely helpful.

It's a significant achievement to win away from home. Winning on the road has not exactly been our forte this year.

The most important thing to me is to be playing well. We need to win some games away from Alumni Gym because the tournament isn't being played there.

I've been doing this a lot of years. And I don't know if I've ever felt this bad with a season ending. These guys really gutted it out this season.

We did a lot of things well. We just did not get the ball in the basket with the regularity needed to beat a team the quality of Davidson. I thought we played hard, but it just wasn't enough today.

We feel very fortunate to have won the game.

While it's a significant achievement, for sure, for our team, the consequences really don't change for us. We have to have one of the top two best records overall in the league, and we're still shooting for that.

We balanced our schedule out the best that we could. We are fortunate to have a lot of home games early. Our players are very excited about the upcoming season. Hopefully, we'll be taking our program to a good place.

Three out of our last four contests came down to the wire. That is why college basketball is the greatest sport in the world. You have to play every night.
