The first game was our best game of the year. I felt we were clicking and setting everything up.

The girls played hard and dug up a lot of balls. There were some good saves and a lot of hustles.

In the second game we decided to overhand serve and be more aggressive.

I'm glad we pulled this one out. We were 48-of-60 serving, which was uncharacteristic of our team. We're not quite in sync right now. We're making a lot of errors on the floor. But I'm happy we got the victory.

Sharpe has been playing well and has been consistently shooting in the low 50s all year. That was the boost that we needed today.

That made me nervous at practice. Typically whoever wins the conference ends up going 10-0 or 9-1. But we played Carbondale the first night out last year also and beat them.

That looked like volleyball. It's exciting when everyone executes what you've coached them in practice.

Amanda will be a force for us. She's really come along. She started at the end of last year and this year has really got it down. She snaps 'em down.

They surprise you when they come back. They actually are different. Some have lost some baby fat, some are stronger, some are taller.

This is a strong serving team and we have height. But not just height, there's talent there. We should be strong.
