I'm happy for these guys. I'm glad we were finally able to close a game out.

They did a great job attacking the rim. They are an extremely large team and very experienced and well-coached.

It was a really tough loss. We played very hard but shot really bad and couldn't stop their inside presence.

It wasn't from lack of effort. All our guys were diving all over the floor. Every time we cut it to two points, (Merced) came up with a big shot.

We were overmatched tonight as far as size and strength goes. (COS) has six (future NCAA) Division I players.

We did a tremendous job defensively. We shut down who we had to shut down, but they had some other guys step up.

We came to defend, and we rebounded like mad dogs. That was one of the best rebounding performances any team of mine has ever had.

Our passing was awful. It's so undervalued in today's game. We make a lot of careless decisions at times.

Overall it was a good game. We did a good job of sharing the ball. We were been more competitive than the score indicated.

I think we put on two pretty good tournaments.
