Procrastination is merely the lack of action the same way darkness is the absence of light. You switch on the light and BOOM! Darkness is gone. You move your ass off the couch and BOOM! Procrastination is gone. It’s that simple.

We are living in a world of Limited Liability Companies and Limited Liability Characters. You and I, we’ve been raised to believe that there are things for which we are responsible, and the rest is the responsibility of someone else. In fact, many have grown to believe that they are not responsible for anything at all.

Of course, you are who you are. But you can be a hundred different versions of yourself. You decide whether you’ll be a lazy bastard or a person who dedicates his/her life to making a difference in this world. You decide whether you’ll be a judgmental jerk or a person who purposefully designs and lives an exciting, fulfilled life. You are you. But you can, and you must pick which “you” you want to be. It’s your choice. Nobody else’s.

Some of the most precious treasures in the world are hidden between the pages of books. All the lessons are just a few clicks away.

My friend, you don’t need to become a monk or sell your Ferrari to get the benefits of meditation. It’s not about living a spiritual life. It’s about living a great life. It’s about rising above that which is unimportant and living in a space of control. Meditation is not about becoming a person who wants and owns nothing. It’s about becoming a person who doesn’t get owned by anything.

Failure is a stepping stone for success. And the only way to fail our goals and our dreams is not to fail at all.

It doesn’t matter what you did yesterday, last week, last month, last year. It’s all about what you do now. The past is gone. The future will come. Focus on the present moment.

Talk is not cheap, my friend. Not honoring your word is.

Just as spring brings life to flowers and the moon moves tides on the shores, nothing is simply chance. Everything happens for a reason. Everything is a routine.

We are all trying way too hard to become something we don’t want.
