A month ago I don't think we win this game.

I don't want to make it sound like coach talk, but we know as quickly as the success comes it can go. It has to be protected. The formula involved is one thing and one thing only -- good players who are good kids. When you combine the two it makes it a lot easier to go into battle.

If there was one real bright spot tonight offensively it was Brian and the way he played with a lot more confidence.

If the whole thing was here, a lot of teams would be in a lot of trouble. Toledo is really hard to handle here. They played hungry and inspired. They were tremendous.

I guess you have to die before they name the place after you.

Indiana State is a talented team that will provide a great challenge for us in the Bracket Buster. They were ranked in the top 25 at one point and they've beaten Indiana. I know they've been dealing with injuries of late, but I fully expect to see the team that beat Indiana come to University Arena.

After the meeting, I fell in love with him. Smart, intelligent, asked a lot of questions, asked the right questions. I was very impressed with him as a person.

They came out tonight like a house on fire but fortunately for us we stayed calm and composed.

Defensively, we've got a little more depth, ... We lost quite a few good players Å  but we're deeper this year. We're still pretty young. The guys who are playing got a lot of playing time last year. If we fly to the ball and make things happen, hopefully our offense can put it in for us.

At the start of the year, I thought they were the best team in the MAC. They still may be.
