Campbellsville is a good team but so are we and our kids will bounce back from this loss.

Campbellsville was starting to get it together down the stretch. They struggled much of the season, but this district was up for grabs. The fact that they were able to play at home was a huge factor in such an even district this year.

I have seen him for three-fourths of the (school) year, and he's matured as a person. But he's still a sixth-grade boy that has sixth- grade behaviors. He's very highly motivated and extremely polite.

Anytime you get a win like this on the road, it's a big win. This is the first time we've been able to go there and pull out a win. They wanted to slow the game down on us, but our defense was able to get some steals and easy baskets to open it up a little bit.

It was just too much to make up. We did not come out aggressively enough in the first half. The fact that we did come back shows you just what kind of kids we have.

They were a tough team for us to match-up against. We believed and we still believe that we are the better basketball team. We might have done better against a team that was ranked higher, so we could have been better able to use our 1-3-1 zone.

They were challenged on that at the quarter break to grab every rebound. And I meant it. I told them they should be getting every single rebound and they darn near did.

They came out and scored every time down the court. They are a good team, one of the best in the sixth region and after the first quarter we played pretty well.

It's wide-open this year. You never know what can happen come district time, especially this year.

It was a big game. They are a physical team. They always are physical. I'm real proud of the linemen on both sides of the ball.
