A guy shows that kind of hard running ability - that shows where his bar is. Then I expect that bar all of the time, ... Being younger, I don't think he comes out every day with the intent of trying to move the bar up.

This is a huge game for UC Davis as they are making the move into Division I football, kind of like their bowl game.

These guys pulled together. You could feel the camaraderie. Everybody was rocking.

Hopefully the fourth game was a turning point,

I don't know if it's broken. Something is wrong with his hand. It was a big loss, he's a good football player and he's had the most practice time. We are a little more freewheeling with him.

He's practicing and we're doing everything we can to make sure he doesn't extend the injury. He threw a little in practice on Sunday, and hopefully he'll be ready.

I'm not looking at surgery and he's not looking at surgery, but we're not really sure yet. We are hoping it is what the doctors have diagnosed and we can treat it.

I'm going to miss Ted because I think we have a lot of common belief about how to get the job done. I'm sad in some ways because we need that guy in our corner, but I'm extremely happy for him because I know what a great place Pacific is, and I know that he wanted to do it. I'm a Ted Leland fan. I can put my job second and my friendship first.

It's really tough, no matter who you are. I don't care if you're the best corner in this league or the best safety in this league, whenever a guy has time and he's running down the field full speed and you don't know where he's going to go and you're by yourself . . . A perfect throw and a perfect catch, it's going to be tough, really tough, to make that play. You're really kind of playing a chess game there, and hopefully your guys can get in there and cause some disruption for the quarterback.

It was great to see Nick catch the ball and run with the catch, ... I think he can be really a fine football player. On that TD run we didn't block many people.
