This tour is name-driven, always has been and always will be. Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead carried the ball on the early part of the Senior Tour and they made it work. Then we had (Lee) Trevino come on and Jack (Nicklaus) played a little bit. We have to try a little bit harder, because maybe we don't have the names of that type.

Well, I think it's a title it certainly deserves. He deserves it, after what Arnold has meant to the game of golf, not only here in the United States but around the world. It's certainly something that I think is long overdue.

He does a lot of different voices and mannerisms of famous people. He does a slow turn around and his body becomes like George Burns or Arnold Schwarzenegger or the person he's imitating,

He's an irreplaceable guy. I think of Payne Stewart and there's a guy that's going to be like Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, a guy you want around all those years.

It's throwing darts at the president, and the president has a pretty thick hide on these matters. Look at who's working for Arnold these days; they have a pretty good barometer on how far you can push the president.

Woo-hoo, ... I'm happy. I want to publicly thank Arnold Schwarzenegger, and I want to thank God right now.

I love it. I don't know if I love it as much as Arnold Palmer, but I think I am close. I can't wait to get up in the mornings because I know I am going out to play golf. The game has been very good to me. Much has been said about when I am going to retire but I never will.

When they asked me to do this, I said, 'Are you kidding me?' ... There are a lot of people that'd kill to play with this guy for two rounds. It's two days I'll never forget. Playing with Arnold Palmer at this time in my life, it was just wonderful.

I don't see any others forthcoming, ... But Arnold has two very formidable opponents.

It will be interesting to see whether Kerry repeats the 'Benedict Arnold CEOs' refrain. Once Kerry had the nomination sewn up -- and was more concerned about winning support from millionaires than mill workers -- he disavowed responsibility for the Benedict Arnold line.
