These are not days for unbridled optimism, but this is the perfect time to allow hope to arise in our spirits.

The harsh truth is that the majority of those sickest from coronavirus suffer from lifestyle induced conditions and/or aging. Both negatively impact our immune system. At this time, we can only control the former. Let this be a wake-up call and a time in social isolation to begin getting healthier.

To those who advocate that America follow the Chinese model of a totalitarian lockdown because of a virus or flu strain, must remember that the Maoist principle of Chinese rule is founded on total control of the populace, with the loss of freedom on every front: of speech, movement, work, information. Americans shouldn't be drinking the green tea so unquestioningly.
