In making this motion, I am publicly asking Mayor Andrews to support the Board as it moves forward in the process of finding a qualified superintendent.

It was fun. I was really hoping the team would do well, and I wanted to do my part. With Howell, it's really intense.

There is one clear fact that emerges from the events of the last sixteen months: management of the Utility Board's assets should be in the hands of a full time employee who has the education and experience to do the job.

The Utilities Board of Andalusia is here to serve its customers and citizens. We have a responsibility to make sure this utility system has the best manager with a desire, the skills, and abilities to lead us in the future.

The only angel who sees us now watches through each others eyes.

We haven't had any team state titles, but we've had several district champions and a lot of good teams here. We've had teams get close, but at some point, a school comes and trips us up.

With the way the area is growing, we hope we can mix a little bit of the old with the new. The old being our tradition and success and the new being the amount of talent that we hope to get.

I did not know who I was. But now, watching it all unfold and having a past, a present and a future I think what a little character I was. The character I am now, it's a good and seasoned woman. There's not so much vaudeville, but plenty of heart.
